GROWTOGETHER APP DESIGN
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project was to design GrowTogether, a mobile gardening app that helps users care for their plants through education, reminders, and organization. The main focus was to demonstrate how users would navigate the app to add a plant to their virtual garden and set up care notifications. The app was designed to make plant care more accessible and engaging by allowing users to learn about their plants, track them in a personalized virtual garden, and receive timely watering and care reminders. Overall, the goal was to create a simple and intuitive user experience that supports consistent plant care habits.
PROCESS
The design process began with research into existing plant care and gardening apps to understand common user flows and essential features. From there, I developed the app structure and mapped out the key user journey, focusing on the steps needed to add a plant and set up notifications. Wireframes were created to establish a clear and easy-to-follow layout and navigation system. The final design was built in Figma, using a minimal colour palette of black, white, and green to keep the interface clean, simple, and easy to navigate.
